2009

His Journey to the Cannes Film Festival and Beyond

At 17, Kamal left Morocco for France and won a ticket to the 2011 Cannes Film Festival with a short film. On the red carpet, he mingled with Hollywood stars like Johnny Depp and Robert De Niro, turning his movie passion into a dream come true.

2012

His Journey Learning English: He even Dared to Try Scottish Food

In six months, Kamal self-learned English by switching his devices to English, binge-watching American sitcoms, and living with a family in the Scottish Highlands. Between breathtaking landscapes and a fair share of haggis, he found that understanding kilts was as important as mastering the language.

2013

French Tutor in Rome, Italy: Different Food Experience

He also learned Italian while teaching French at John Cabot University in Rome, Italy as part of a study abroad program.

2014

Journey to America: Not Quiet Like in the Movies!

He moved to Wisconsin, the land of cheese, to pursue his college education. He braved the -30 degrees and the heavy snow for months to earn his degree.

2017

Graduated from College: Oprah watched him walk!

He graduated in Accounting and International Business. He shared the stage with Oprah’s relative on graduation day.

2019

Moved to California: The Start of UX Design Journey

After gaining work experience in Finance, he followed his childhood dream of living in California. There, he embarked on a new career path as a designer and enjoyed every moment of it.
